Content generation settings control whether drafts can be produced at all, and under what limits.

What is configured here
- Master generation enablement — a single switch that governs all draft production. With it off, no story produces drafts.
- Model and provider configuration — which generation provider and model the workspace uses.
- Credential state — whether a valid credential is configured. The screen reports configured or not configured; it never displays the credential itself.
- Generation limits — the ceilings that keep generation volume and cost predictable.
- Operational readiness — the combined result reported back to the readiness checks.
Never paste credentials, keys, or secret values into stories, campaigns, or asset descriptions. Credential values are held server-side and are not exposed to the browser.
Sequencing
Complete Brand, Products, and Audiences before enabling generation. Generation with an incomplete foundation produces drafts that are technically valid and editorially useless, and it consumes limits doing so.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause |
|---|---|
| No drafts produced for any story | Master generation switch is off |
| Generation readiness reports not ready | Provider configuration incomplete or credential not configured |
| Drafts stop partway through a batch | A generation limit was reached |
| Drafts are generic | Foundation configuration is thin, not a generation fault |
