The Asset Library is the governed media repository for everything that can accompany a post.

Requirements before an asset can be published
An asset is publishable only when all of the following hold:
- Workspace ownership — the asset belongs to the workspace that owns the post.
- Storage state — the object is verified in active storage, not pending or legacy read-only.
- Story or post association — the asset is attached to the story or post being published.
- Approval — the asset is the approved, current visual for that post.
An asset that belongs to another workspace is refused before any external send, even if it is otherwise approved.
Working practice
- Attach the visual before submitting a draft for review; reviewers assess copy and visual together.
- Replace rather than edit in place when a visual changes, so version history stays legible.
- Re-verify storage state after any media storage cutover activity.
