Publications
Publications is the execution ledger, not another editorial queue. It records what was attempted, what happened, and what evidence exists.

What each record holds
- Destination — the approved account the content was sent to.
- Scheduled time — the intended execution time, in the workspace timezone.
- Execution status — scheduled, executed, failed, or cancelled.
- Buffer post identifier — the external identifier returned by the delivery bridge.
- Verification state — whether the external result has been confirmed.
- Failed-before-send state — refused by a safety gate before anything left the system.
- Published evidence — the record of what actually went out.
- Cancellation or rescheduling evidence — the trail behind any change.
Failed before send
A failed-before-send record means a safety gate refused the publication. Nothing reached the external platform. This is a successful outcome for the gate, not a delivery failure; resolve the underlying condition — approval, ownership, eligibility, or asset state — and reschedule.
Verification
A returned external identifier is not the same as verification. Verification confirms that the scheduled or published result at the platform matches the governed record. Treat unverified records as open items until they reconcile.
If Buffer contains a post that is not verified in RI Social Media, treat the governed record as the source of truth and reconcile using the Buffer Execution Log.
