Stories

A story is the governed unit of content production. It is not a social post; it is the sourced idea from which posts and visuals are produced.

The story list. Records, statuses, and counts shown are point-in-time examples.

What a story records

  • Source or source brief — the material the content is grounded in.
  • Campaign assignment — the strategy the story belongs to.
  • Priority — the relative importance of producing it.
  • Editorial angle — the specific argument this story makes.
  • Evidence or snapshot — the stored content snapshot that supports the claim.
  • Production status — where the story sits in the lifecycle.
  • Current draft version — the version reviewers and publication act on.
  • Visual state — whether an approved visual asset exists.

Creating a story

Story creation. Values shown are point-in-time examples.

  1. Provide the source or write a source brief. A story without usable source material cannot be grounded.
  2. Assign the campaign, which supplies the audience, theme, CTA, and platform selection.
  3. Set priority and the editorial angle.
  4. Confirm a stored snapshot exists before generating drafts.

Working a story

Story detail. Draft content and version numbers shown are point-in-time examples.

Generation produces channel-specific drafts and, where configured, visual assets. Each regeneration creates a new version; the current version is the one that carries forward to review, scheduling, and publication.

One story may produce multiple channel-specific posts and multiple visual assets. Approving one draft does not approve the others.
